Our Name
DELORBIS
The name DELORBIS is inspired by the Latin roots DEL and ORBIS, meaning “Of the World.”
DEL: Derived from the preposition meaning “OF THE.”
ORBIS: The Latin word for “WORLD”.
DELORBIS represents our identity as “Medicines of the World” and our mission to provide “MEDICINES FOR THE WORLD.” It is our daily commitment to delivering trusted branded medicines from Europe that improve lives and provide care for people everywhere.
The “DE” in our name honours our Deutsch (German) Legacy, reflecting our proud heritage as part of the Tiefenbacher Group, a leading German pharmaceutical organization.

Our Logo
Our logo embodies the essence of DELORBIS and our global mission. The BLUE circle represents the EARTH – our planet and our world. At the centre, the ‘D’ stands for DELORBIS, where a tablet can be distinguished on closer look. The design also forms a sailing vessel with a blue sail, symbolically departing from the island of Cyprus to carry our European Pharmaceutical Excellence across the globe.”
